Full Stack Web Development

Backend API Development
Design and build production-grade REST APIs using Django REST Framework, Spring Boot (Java), and Node.js/Express. Services include endpoint design following REST conventions, JWT and API-token authentication, rate limiting, input validation with Zod or Pydantic, pagination, filtering, and comprehensive error handling. DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure

Serverless architectures with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SAM, and DynamoDB. Docker image builds, ECR registry management, and automated deployment pipelines from commit to production.
IoT System Development
Build end-to-end IoT solutions from firmware to cloud dashboard. Hardware: ESP32 and Raspberry Pi with sensors (DHT22, soil moisture, ultrasonic). Firmware: Arduino C++ and MicroPython. Communication: MQTT via Mosquitto broker with paho-mqtt Python subscribers. Cloud: AWS IoT Core, DynamoDB time-series storage, Lambda processors, and Next.js real-time dashboards. Use cases include smart farming, environmental monitoring, smart home automation, and industrial sensing.
Database Design & Optimisation
Schema design for relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and document (MongoDB) databases with a focus on correctness, query performance, and long-term maintainability. For NoSQL workloads I design DynamoDB single-table schemas with explicit access patterns, GSIs, and write-duplication strategies to minimise read cost at scale.
Technical Consulting & Architecture Review
Independent review of existing systems, codebases, and infrastructure to identify security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and architectural anti-patterns. Deliverables include a written findings report with prioritised recommendations, refactoring roadmaps, and actionable migration plans. Particularly experienced in Django-to-microservice migrations, monolith decomposition, cloud cost optimisation, and CI/CD pipeline modernisation.
AI Feature Integration
Integrate large language model capabilities into existing web applications using the OpenAI API and Anthropic Claude API. Typical integrations include AI-powered report generation, natural language search, document summarisation, and conversational support assistants. All integrations are built with structured output validation (Zod/Pydantic), prompt caching for cost efficiency, graceful fallbacks, and rate-limit handling — production-ready from day one.
